SHIVAREE
Shivaree is a three-person American band consisting of Ambrosia Parsley [vocals], Danny McGough [keyboard and Duke McVinnie [guitar]. Shivaree has taken its name from the American term shivaree, which is borrowed from the French charivari and means roughly, a noisy mock serenade for newlyweds. The band was formed in 1999.

Shivaree has produced four full-length albums: I Oughtta Give You Shot in the Head for Making Me Live in this Dump [1999], Rough Dreams [2002], Who's Got Trouble? [2005] and a cover album Tainted Love: Mating Calls and Fight Songs [2007]. Their most known song Goodnight Moon was featured in seasons 3 and 6 of the TV series Dawson's Creek as well as being played over the closing credits of the Quentin Tarantino film Kill Bill: Volume 2
